Capital Improvement Project Advertisements

Architectural, Engineering, Construction Management At-Risk, and Design Build services for projects are advertised in the Kansas Register.   Unless otherwise noted in the Kansas Register advertisement, the following requirements are common to all submittals.

To be considered, one book and (1) electronic .pdf proposal less than 5 MB (delivered by e-mail or on a CD) of a letter of interest summarizing the firm’s qualifications for the advertised services, state of Kansas capital improvement forms 051-054, and information regarding similar projects, and a Kansas Professional Qualifications form 050 for each firm and consultant.

Each proposal should be concise and follow the current State Building Advisory Commission (SBAC) guidelines located in sections 4 and 5 of Chapter 4 in the division’s Building Design and Construction Manual (BDCM) click here (pdf).  For Construction Management At-Risk and Design Build, see Chapter 4a of the BDCM.
