Include supervisory, consultative, and direct treatment in the clinical study and treatment of physical therapy-related function and disorders.
Work involves studying abnormal physical functional patterns of individuals, evaluating physical dysfunction; and providing appropriate therapy. Work includes supervising certified physical therapy assistants and/or aides and instructing other health related support staff. Work may include participation in a physical therapy research program or in training programs for students from universities cooperating in clinical programs for practicum or internship training.
