Job Description:

The Kansas Board of Regents invites applicants to fill the position for the Reporting and Research Specialist.  The nine-member Kansas Board of Regents is the governing board of the state’s six universities and the statewide coordinating board for the state’s 32 public higher education institutions (six state universities, one municipal university, nineteen community colleges, and six technical colleges). 

The DRP unit is responsible for the planning, development, and maintenance of a uniform, web-based postsecondary education data and reporting system.  This system provides decision-making support to the Board's policy development and system coordination roles.  Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant area such as computer sciences, information systems technology, computer systems engineering, or a combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.

Salary range is $45,000 to $55,000 and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  A competitive benefits package such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid leave are available for this position.  In addition, the Kansas Board of Regents offers tuition waivers for benefits eligible employees, their spouses, and dependents at several state universities.
