Instructions for Kansas Division of Purchases Bid Events

It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that you have downloaded the most current release of the Bid Event Document and any Amendment(s).

It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure bids are received by the closing date and time. Delays in mail delivery or any other means of transmittal, including couriers or agents of the issuing entity shall not excuse late bid submissions.

New mandatory requirement: Potential bidders must register with the event contact person named in the bid event document at least 24 hours before the official finish date and time.

Due to State of Kansas SMART Strategic Sourcing System requirements, any bidder with an interest in bidding on any State of Kansas sourcing event must register with the Division of Purchases at least 24 hours before the Bid Event official finish date and time. If you fail to register in a timely fashion, your bid may be rejected in its entirety.

If this is the first time you’ve registered with the Division of Purchases, you must complete the free Bidder Registration Survey and submit a W-9 Form in support of your registration.
