| A technical issue has been identified
that resulted in some Employee Self Service W-4 changes generating
a confirmation e-mail to the employee’s agency but not actually
updating the Employee Tax Data in SHARP. This issue affected W-4
self-service updates during the period of December 20, 2007 –
January 8, 2008. Employees who received an error message after entering
their password and clicking ‘Continue’ to complete the
change are affected and should review their Federal Withholding
Tax Data settings and make updates if necessary. We apologize for
any inconvenience this has caused.
Please remind your employees that a valid e-mail address is required
for proper processing of self-service requests. In addition, a Submit
Confirmation page will appear at the conclusion of a self-service
transaction to confirm that the transaction processed successfully.
