| Please note that Board Members who specifically
have their board salary tied to legislative pay (reference K.S.A.
75-3212 and 75-3223) should receive a daily pay increase from $86.50
to $88.66 effective June 15, 2008 per Senate Substitute for HB 2916
(see Section 13 at http://www.kslegislature.org/bills/2008/2916.pdf
).
If this applies to Board Members in your agency, please enter this
increase in their Job Data in SHARP by 6PM on June 30, 2008. Add
a new Job Data row with an Effective Date of June 15, 2008, use
the Action / Reason code of Pay Rate Change / Other (Unclassified),
and change the Comp Rate field on the Compensation page to the new
rate of 88.66. Check the Annual Benefits Base Rate field, located
on the Benefit Program Participation page, to ensure it is blank
for these board members. (See Annual Benefits Base Rate/Imputed
Income document located on the SHARP Documents & Forms page:
