Trouble-Shooting Tips
- The first time you use the CBT, the Authorware Webplayer Security dialogue
box will display. Click on the Security Options button. On the Authorware
Webplayer Security Options dialogue box, click on the "Trust All
Locations" radio button, then click on the Save settings button which
will return you to the Authorware Webplayer Security dialogue box. Click on
the OK button.
- If the CBT will not run or the documents will not open, try the
following:
- If after you click on the START button: (1) the browser can not find
the Authorware Webplayer plugin if it has been installed; (2) you only
see the Macromedia logo; or (3) the program is slow to respond, the
browser cache files may need to be cleared. The procedures to clear the
cache files are:
For Internet Explorer:
1. Select Tools, Internet Options.
2. Click on the General tab.
3. Click on the Delete Files button, click Yes
to confirm, then click OK.
For Firefox:
1. Click on Tools, Options.
2. Click on Privacy Button, then the CacheTab.
3. Click on the Clear Cache Now button.
4. Click OK.
- If the security hazard warning dialogue box displays instead of a linked
document, click Off the "Always ask before opening
this type of file" check box. The document will then open.
