In efforts to improve quality and at the same time conserve resources, we will begin publishing enhanced
monthly financial information for the State of Kansas on the Internet. This information is entitled the
Monthly Financial Perspective and will be available in the Financial Reporting section of the Division
of Accounts and Reports web site at:

The State of Kansas Monthly Financial Report will be published concurrently through the remainder of this
fiscal year. Effective with fiscal year 1999, the Monthly Financial Perspective will replace the publication
of the State of Kansas Monthly Financial Report.
You are encouraged to visit our web site and take a look at this new publication, the Monthly Financial
Perspective. Your comments and suggestions are welcome. Those who do not have access to the Internet and
