Executive Directive 99-279 establishes two 5% pay differentials (Earnings
Codes PD2 and PD3) for Juvenile Corrections Officers I with the Juvenile Justice
Authority. The PD2 earnings code is to be used when the Juvenile Corrections
Officers I is performing lead worker duties during the absence of a supervisor.
The PD3 earnings code is to be used when the Juvenile Corrections Officer
I is performing duties in a specialty unit that deals with acute behavior,
chronic behavior, or psychiatric problems.
The earnings code will be displayed as follows:
Each of the above earnings codes are effective with the payroll period beginning June 13, 1999 and ending June 26, 1999 paid July 9, 1999. Earnings codes 'PD2' and 'PD3' are established for use only by the following agencies: Atchison Juvenile Correctional Facility (355), Beloit Juvenile Correctional Facility (325), Larned Juvenile Correctional Facility (412), and the Topeka Juvenile Correctional Facility (319). Juvenile Corrections Officers I who satisfy the criteria for both pay differentials can only receive one of the differentials; they are not eligible for both. SAM:JJM:RDB
