As a result of a review
of the insurance codes printed on the paycheck stubs and advices, the
Insurance Coverage Codes A: Covered Workers Compensation Insurance, B:
Covered Unemployment Compensation Insurance, and C: Covered Life and
Disability Insurance will no longer be printed on paycheck stubs. The
elimination of these codes on the paycheck stub is a print change only and
does not affect the coverage provided or data entry into SHARP
for these deductions. Elimination of these codes is a result of
programming modifications needed to print accurate data and the continued
policy to implement delivered PeopleSoft software without modifications.
The Division of Accounts and Reports, Payroll Systems Team will make the necessary updates to the SHARP payroll system to effect this change for all employees. DB:JJM:rdb
