Inactivate a Vacant Position

All agencies have access to inactivate positions. When a position is Inactive it is abolished. SHARP will not allow a filled position to be inactivated. Regents please note that a complete Regents interface file is required when inactivating a vacant position.

The current row will always be available on-line for Active or Inactive positions. This means there will always be at least one row of data (current row or "top of the stack" ) available on-line for each position.

Please refer to Manage Positions CBT for more detailed information.
