Data Standards

Suspension

Description: A permanent classified employee may be suspended for disciplinary purposes for a period not to exceed 30 calendar days. A suspension for an exempt employee shall not be less than the employee’s work week of seven consecutive 24 hour periods, or multiples of such work week unless the suspension is in good faith for an infraction of a safety rule of major significance. Please refer to Administer Workforce/Plan Salaries CBT for more detailed information.

Last column refers to data interfaced with SHARP by the Regents institutions.

Employee ID and Employee Record # - Online agencies must enter in search box; Regents must send in interface file. Incorrect data entry updates the wrong employee.

*Date Last Worked field on Employment Data 1 panel automatically defaults to the day before the effective date of the suspension. The system uses the Effective Date to represent the beginning of an action.

Annual Benefits Base Rate, Compensation Frequency, Compensation Rate, Position Number, Step
