STARS Computer Based Training (CBT)
Before you begin, please ensure the following tasks have been completed:

Adobe Acrobat Reader and Authorware WebPlayer must be installed to use the CBT. Contact your
agency technical support staff for assistance in installing this free software. To download
and install this software, click on the links below.

Set your monitor screen resolution to 800 x 600 pixels. The resolution can be changed using
the following path: My Computer, Control Panel, Display, click on the
Setting tab and move the Desktop Area slider to "800 x 600".
Click on the OK button.

Links to text documents in .pdf format should open the document in front
of the CBT. However, certain browsers may cause the documents to open behind the CBT so they
can not be seen. If this happens, you can either slowly (count to 2 between clicks) double click
the link or press the Alt + Tab keys (press Tab while holding down the Alt key) as many times
as needed to access the document. Release the Alt key, and the document should appear.
