Security FAQ -A. - Either you or your supervisor will need to contact your Agency SHARP Contact. The Contact will either take the filled out request form from you and approve it, or fill it out on their own. They will then submit it to the SHARP Security Administrator in DPS. A - 1. Call the SHARP Security Help Desk at 785-368-8000. 2. Press Option 1 (SHARP) 3.Press Option 3 (Passwords/Security Access). 4. If no one is there to take your call, you can leave a message on voicemail and your call will be returned as soon as possible and in the order that it is received. 5. When leaving a message, please speak clearly and include your Name, User ID, and Phone Number. Q. How do I change my password? A. 1. Log into SHARP under your User ID and Current Password. 2. Go to PeopleTools>Maintain Security>Use>My Profile. This will pull up the General Profile Information page. 3. Click on the Change Password link. 4. The Change Password page will open. Here you will type in your Current Password, then type in a New Password. Then confirm your New Password by typing it again. 5. Press OK. A box will pop up that says that you have saved your password. 6. You will be directed back to the General Profile Information page, where you will need to scroll down and press Save at the bottom. 7. You can now navigate on to other pages in SHARP or you may press Log Out. |
